Fortec is an Australian owned specialist contracting company that has commenced a Construction Products Division in 2016.
An exciting opportunity with this dynamic and fast-growing business awaits the right candidate. This is a busy, successful project delivery environment that will suit a well organised person with strong interpersonal skills willing to work as part of an experienced team.
Due to an ever growing portfolio of awarded contracts we are currently seeking a Product Divisional Manager to join our Operations in NSW reporting to the Managing Director. Your main responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Work as part of a team who provide the first point of call for all internal and external technical queries relating to Fortec products and in the use of those products
- Assess customer requirements and develop practical solutions using previous history, experience from the team
- Develop and maintain an effective working relationship with external customers as well as internal sales and production staff
- Look for and implement process improvements in all systems and processes
- Provide timely on-site assistance to Fortec customers
- Address product issues and resolve concerns within agreed time frames
- Create and maintain technical manuals and support material for products
- Carry out contract reviews as a means to develop compliant product designs
- Product evaluation, requirements definition and development specifications
- Development of technical marketing literature
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or similar discipline - highly advantageous
- Min 5 years Product Development experience
- Extensive Technical Product management –
- Stakeholder management and strong communication skills
- Strong safety ethic
- Strong customer service and problem solving skills
